
ABOUT THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The El Bucle Artistic Group, winner of the “More Local Culture Grant for the Production and Circulation of Cultural and Creative Activities of Ethnic and Population Groups of the Los Mártires District 2025”, invites the community to participate in the artistic training and creation process entitled: "Roots that walk high”.
Process Description:
This is a comprehensive, 50-hour, certifiable training program. Its objective is to provide a space for technical and creative learning for young people between 18 and 28 years old, where each participant develops artistic skills and actively participates in the creation of their own stage elements.
The workshop requires constant and committed participation, as the process culminates in a performance by an Artistic Troupe in the town of Los Mártires on April 25th, where the work done will be staged.
Areas of Training and Creation:
Stilts: Learning and practicing balance and movement.
Drum manufacturing: Technical process of constructing percussion instruments.
Dun Dun Dance: Training in dance and rhythm with African percussion.
Mask making: Workshop for the design and creation of masks for performing arts.
Benefits for the registered participant:
Official certification: A certificate will be awarded for the 50 hours of artistic training.
Materials and supplies: All necessary materials for the manufacture of drums and masks will be provided.
Circulation: Participation in the final exhibition of the project in public space.
Selection process:
To ensure a personalized learning experience and optimal use of materials, this lab has only 20 places available. Selection will prioritize meeting local affiliation requirements and commitment to attendance.

Dates of the process:
Remember that to receive your certificate you must have participated in at least 80% of the process and be in the final sample.
